What helps us act

  • The member's profile name or link.
  • What happened, and roughly when.
  • Screenshots of relevant messages, if you have them.
  • Whether you feel at risk right now.

What we do with a report

  1. A person reads it — reports are not decided by automated filters alone.
  2. We look at the context available to us in the account and any related reports.
  3. We take proportionate action, which may include a warning, content removal, feature limits, suspension, or removal of the account.
  4. We aim to let you know when we have finished reviewing.

Your privacy when reporting

We do not tell the reported member who reported them. In limited situations — for example a legal obligation or a court order — we may be required to disclose information, and we will act as required by law.

Immediate danger

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We are not an emergency service and cannot respond in real time.
