Pre-launch draft. This page contains placeholder language that must be reviewed by legal counsel before nu Avanti launches. Sections needing attention are marked “Note for review”.

Prohibited conduct

  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination.
  • Misrepresenting who you are, including misleading photos, false locations, or impersonation.
  • Romance fraud, financial solicitation, investment or cryptocurrency pitches, or requests for money, gift cards, or banking details.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or sexual content depicting a person who has not consented.
  • Commercial spam, mass messaging, recruitment schemes, or scraping member data.
  • Sharing another member's private information, photos, or messages without their permission.
  • Attempting to bypass security controls, rate limits, or account restrictions.

Content standards

Photos should be recent and show you. Profile text should describe you accurately. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.

How we intend to enforce

  1. We receive a report, or an issue is otherwise brought to our attention.
  2. A person reviews the available context.
  3. We may take proportionate action, such as a warning, content removal, feature limits, suspension, or removal of the account.
  4. In cases involving a credible risk of serious harm, we may refer information to appropriate authorities where lawful.

We do not review all content proactively, and we cannot detect every breach. Enforcement depends in part on members telling us when something is wrong.

Asking us to look again

If you believe a decision was wrong, you can ask us to review it again. We aim to tell you the outcome and the reason.
