Law Enforcement Requests
Attorney Review Required
We take requests for member information seriously in both directions: we intend to respect valid legal process, and to resist requests that appear overbroad or improper.

What we ask for
- A request in writing, on official letterhead, from an authorised officer.
- The legal basis and the specific accounts and records sought.
- Valid legal process where the applicable law requires it for the category of data requested.
How we intend to respond
- Review the request against applicable law and our policies.
- Narrow the scope to what the request properly covers, and object where we consider it overbroad.
- Produce only the records we are legally required to produce.
- Where the law permits and no safety concern applies, aim to notify the affected member.
Emergencies
Where there is a credible risk of death or serious harm, we may disclose limited information to authorities without prior notice, where the law allows.
